I can't find him in the 1891 census but Argyle Street Gorton is covered in the enumerator's sheet but doesn't actually appear in his census records. He was living at 2, Arglye Street at the time of Edwin's birth. In the 1901 census, he appears as 'Thomas Skynnes', birthplace 'Necclley', Herefordshire. He died in the presence of E Skyrme, daughter. His age was incorrectly given as 72 by Elizabeth. 1901 Slater's - 'Skyrme, Thomas, coach builder, 2, Argyle St,Gorton'. 1901 census - age 52 Railway Wagon worker. He was born on 7 July 1848 at Madley, Hereford.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of Thomas SKYRME and Elizabeth WILLIAMS. Thomas Edward Carlton SKYRME was baptized on 26 July 1848 at Madley, Hereford.⁵ He lived in 1851 at Madley, Herefordshire, England.⁴ He lived in 1861 at Madley, Herefordshire, England.³ He married Louisa Ann BERRISFORD, daughter of Thomas BERRISFORD and Mary CUTTS, on 10 April 1872 at St George's Church, Manchester.
